NTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON “MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS - THE GLOBAL  DIMENTIONS OF CROSS CULTURAL RELATIONS: 16TH TO 17TH MARCH, 2007

An International Conference on “Mergers and Acquisitions - the Global Dimensions of Cross Cultural Relations” was conducted with great enthusiasm during 16th to 17thMarch, 2007 in the premises of BVIMR, New Delhi.

The guest of Honour on this occasion was Dr. Gunnar Palsson, Ambassador of Iceland to India The Chief guest was Dr. R. K. Chauhan, Additional Secretary, UGC. Representatives from 13 countries participated in this Conference as keynote speakers, delegates or as guests. Dignitaries included Mr Sun Xinquan First Secretary, Embassy of China, Mr Mohd Reza  Entrepreneur, Iran Mr Digaunto Chatterjee Transmission planner, Mid-West ISO,USA Dr. Mossaraf Hossain M.D Rapport, Bangladesh, Dr Khawaja Amjad Saeed, formerly advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan and presently Principal Hailey college of Banking and Finance, Pakistan, Dr U.B. Bhoite, Executive Director, Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune and Mr. John Lincoln Head Strategic Group Bharati Airtel Ltd. Mr Kavi Kumar CEO India Bulls besides others.

It was an intellectually stimulating experience to hear the views of so many experts on this subject from the Academia, Corporate Heads, Policy makers and Entrepreneurs.

Dr Sachin S. Vernekar Director welcomed the dignitaries and delegates, media persons, faculty members and students, He highlighted the significant achievements of Bharati Vidyapeeth family, this Institute and the important student driven activities of this Institute
